The Shadow Wash by jason-latino The Shadow Wash by jason-latino
I've been wanting to do a good entry for The Shadow, and the last one just didn't take for me (hence I took it down). I finally managed to get something I was please with after going with an older style opera cloak design instead of the more modern rain coat.

Also after looking at DocShaner's beautiful washes [link] and I had to give it a try. Total success maybe not, but not bad for a first attempt either.

One more thing, I remembered the other week that I bought a handful of Shadow novels back in highschool but never read them. I just finished the first book "The Living Shadow" this weekend and moved onto "The Hidden Death." I'm loving the original take on the character, even though I keep on wanting it to read like the radio show.

If you want a newer reprint of the original stories head over to Nostalgia Ventures [link] and check out their sweet selection. I've got "The Hydra" on reserve for my local Borders.

It's hard to find art featuring the Shadow; Shadow the Hedgehog shows up instead

I did see the movie and for what it was, it wasn't too bad. I really dig the radio shows a lot more though, and collect the novels.

Not bad at all, what'd you use for the red?

Compooter.

I put the Washes on a top layer in Photoshop then set the blend option to multiply and just put red underneath... then I set my phaser to stun... Kyle was out cold before he knew what hit him.
